Tribute

Tribute! Hats off to my SFL Life!

This year a new journey begins and that is another story to tell.
This time let me share about my SFL Life …!
Lately I have been working to renew the style of my blog and while browsing I found my very first blog about CFC-FFL. You can find it on this link : http://i-am-jmhkayne.blogspot.ae/#!/2011/02/repost-faith.html
From the very moment I have published the above post, I have never changed my stand about my faith. Struggles, disappointment, lousiness and all negative things have come their way both big and small but I have kept my feet on the ground. I have come a long way.

We started with 6 as the CORE Group of SFL (not counting the 2 “men” standing when they all started here: Ate Amie & Randy!!!)

< < < Flashback: Randy, he was my flat mate who invited and somehow “forced me” to join CLS… hehehe :)

The six were – Ate Amie and Randy, Ate Ash, Ate Lou, Darrelle & I.
We somehow have another set of SFL from Khalifa City that includes the next set of Servants: Ate Elnor; Followed by Sis Sasa, Kuya Mervin and Bro. Christian. Then the new breeds Rusty, Ron & Arlene.

See the photos below to know their faces..

The first 4 SFL sisters in Abu Dhabi!

Chillin outside while waiting for the activity to start.

My very first HH!

As for me, I started having my own HH (Household) – with Ate Amie (was & still my Servant). My first HH group is with 3 beautiful sisters: Sis Kath, Sis Lee Ann & Sis Tere…

Sis Kath got married and even have a beautiful adorable son, Nathan.
Sis Lee Ann tied the knot too!
While Sis Tere has her family as well.
Technically all of my first HH are now couples.

Household night with HH Group 2!

Here comes HH group 2 – while Sis Kath was waiting for Bro. Mike – new faces joined us: Sis Rochelle, and Sis Rose (Mylen). Some chose to rest, some left Abu Dhabi and finally Kath tied the knot.

So I was left alone. God, asked me to restart the button.

First HH with LHH Group 3

First Big Weekend with HH Group 3.

HH Group 3 comprises of Sis Jourjini, Sis Bhel & Sis Meann. Sis Meann stepped up and got her own Lower HH of 7 persons. But in less than a month or two; some went home, others a cold body, one got married. So she has Sis Cath & Sis Mari left. UHH (Upper HH) decided to merge us and while re-shuffling was happening at that time, Sis Mae becomes part of us too.

2014 Christmas Party! At nabuo din ang # H-H-L-O-V-E !!!

HH Group 4 becomes the latest Household. 4 for L-O-V-E. #HHLOVE – coined by the ever “given active” heheh Sis Cath! Because Household is love! At present this group comprises 7 that represents each letter off HHLOVE , not to forget the “hashtag” . Mari-Meann-Cath-Bhel-Mae-me and hashtag – new Sis from PH – Sis Bevz!

Christmas Party 2013 with #HHLove with Sis Jean.

A salute to this group is worth giving… with respect to all my past 3 HH groups, I have learned from them about the challenges of being a HH-Servant. God saw me, so he allowed me to feel blessed after sometime of keeping my faith.

Let me “alsa ng banko” a little J hehehe for the glory of God naman.
#HHLove has been actively visible to the community, helpful to me as a Servant in many ways. I honor these ladies for the contribution they have given to the SFL Ministry. I know once lang kami naging assigned to work on a certain weekend, but all these girls have proven that they have given their all to make it the best we could and we are all hopeful that we were able to make it a memorable one.

L-R : Bro Ron, Ate Lou, Ate Ash, Ate Amie, Kokobear , Bro Ryan  & Sis Arlene.

For my UHH – Upper Household, I would like to say Thank you for everything. Tried and tested din ang group na ito. I know I had my own fall and set-backs, but they were simply understanding. Ideas & opinion clashes at times but we still end up realizing that this is for the Lord. It feels like they are a family away from home. May tampuhan, iyakan, sayahan… and most of all we all know what is our goal and that is to work in HIS vineyard.

Here is a photo of our first UHH Group with Kuya Pong & Ate Nancy!

If I am to travel back in time and re-do my Abu Dhabi life for the past 6 years, I would say I will do the same thing again. As I have said, I am a better person because of the community. I am able to do what I want, what I wish I could.

Extreme Adventure 2015

The community allowed me to do what I do best (in my  opinion lang po, pwede namang mag object.. hehehe). It allows me to do my passion.

1.  My passion in teaching (through the talks and through the one-on-one relationship with the brethren… Ay! Don’t get me wrong, I can’t do that without God’s grace!… ,

During one of the Covenant Recollection…
Delivering CLS Talk 4.

CLS Talk 6 this time.

2.     My passion of hosting: in fact baka sawa na sa mukha ko ang mga bros & sis natin.. hahaha been doing that thing a year after being active…

3.  To Dance – presentations and all other required activities allows me to show that talent… (meron naman ng konti…)

Dancing 90s song during 2012 Live Pure Conference!

4.     To Sing!!!!! – Aha! You read it right. I’m no choir but I claim to be one of the members of the Choral who took the first SFL awards in the yearly Christmas Party contest!

5.     To Write – Often I share that I am a struggling writer, I have shared that I applied to be a part of our school paper but got rejected… But praise God! He allowed me to become EIC! (Editor in Chief) of The Vineyard! (Sinong mag-aakala na I would be able to share my simple words to the community? Thank you Lord!)

With the help of all contributors, praise God for giving me the strength to complete 4 issues! :)

6.     Finally TO SERVE! – Among all these opportunity, the most worth it, is of Service to our brethren, thus accomplishing God’s commandment of Loving our neighbor.

This year, 2015 – a new chapter of my life’s book starts to unfold as we cross over to CFL. A new challenge a new life! I will surely miss the life of being SFL but life goes on… I continue to pray that God be my shield and inspiration to continue the service we have started.

Becoming a part of Fraternal HH…

Cheers to the new service for 2015! Cheers to my SFL Life!
