Dubai Water Canal – The TOLERANCE Bridge

Here’s a quick post to share you our last visit in Dubai Water Canal and The TOLERANCE Bridge earlier this year.

The rulers His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, issued instructions to name the most beautiful pedestrian bridge over the Dubai Water Canal as the Bridge of Tolerance.

“Bridges connect people, cultures and hearts”

It’s winter… it’s the best time to explore the sites of the city! So, it’s time to get outdoors and make the most of the it. If you haven’t  check out the new Dubai Water Canal, plan a weekend walk or run along the canal’s boardwalks. The views of the city skyline from Tolerance Bridge are awesome, especially during sunrise and sunset.

Cost: FREE! :)

Location: Dubai Water Canal that runs along Sheik Zayed Road through Business Bay.

Overall, this site is a  great place to go for a walk, a beautiful site for sunrise and sunset. A cool place right under the colorful bridge falls. The Tolerance bridge on the other hand is a treat to architects! An awesome feature for photographers as well. To our surprise the canal has fishes and during our visit more that 10 jelly fish and a sting ray greeted us!

By the way, it also gives a good view of the Burj Khalifa. A good spot for the new year’s firework display!
