The Temple of Leah is a grand Roman-inspired landmark perched on the hills of Busay in Cebu City. Often referred to as the “Taj Mahal of Cebu,” it was built in 2012 by businessman Teodorico Adarna as a massive tribute to his late wife, Leah Villa Albino-Adarna.

  • Roman Architecture: The structure features 24 massive Doric columns, granite floors, and a grand marble staircase. It is decorated with statues of lions, angels, and various Greek-inspired artworks.

  • The 9-Foot Statue: The heart of the temple is a 9-foot bronze statue of Leah Albino-Adarna located in the main hall, symbolizing the owner’s undying love.

  • Museum of Treasures: The temple’s 24 chambers house Leah’s vast personal collection of antiques, books, and artifacts from her travels around the world.

  • Overlooking View: Situated in the highlands, the temple’s wide balconies offer a spectacular panoramic view of Cebu City, Mandaue, and Mactan Island.

     

Practical Information

  • Location: Roosevelt St., Brgy. Busay, Cebu City.

  • Opening Hours: Daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

  • Entrance Fee: Approximately PHP 150 per person (fees may vary slightly between weekdays and weekends).

  • Photography: It is one of the most Instagrammable spots in Cebu. For professional shoots (prenup, etc.), there is usually a separate fee of around PHP 2,500.
