The story behind The Great Pursuit
Lately I have been into serious difficulties in sleeping on time. To those people who know me well, I have a sleeping alarm at 9:45 PM but for almost a year now this has been a struggle. I often sleep past midnight and for quiet sometime I had moments when I literally sleeps at 10-11 AM in the morning!!! I have to say though that during these mornights (morning+night) or dawn if we use the correct term, I’m in constant battle of thoughts and ideas that sprouts out of no where and the story behind the F4 and victorious activity we had last Friday in CFFL Dubai was a fruit…

TakeHome-ily: Open up for the Lord
From yesterday’s Gospel – I’d like to share a few reflections. Jesus reveals himself as the “bread of life”. Majority of us have a hard time accepting this. But let us try to be open to the mysteries of God. Let us be open especially when it comes to our faith. Kahit gaano ka ka-“ganda” (ang tao o bagay man) kapag sarado ka – hindi tutuloy sa atin ang biyaya ng Diyos. However good or beautiful you are (as a person/things/situation) if you are closed and not willing to share your life. You would not see the blessings of the Lord. Be OPEN for the LORD. Open up – starting…

VW Series 001 – The SUN (Sunlight)
From VW Series Intro, comes series 001 – The SUN (or Sunlight) Out of the original outline, I have personally came up with the concept of “how to take care a plant”… and thought of ways/words to compare it to the theme of being in a vineyard or farm. Questions like: how to make it grow? What will it take from being planted? to being pruned, rooted and eventually bear fruits…? So I came up with these: the basics include the sun/sunlight, water, fertilizer and human. Praise God for guiding me and that I somehow managed to relate it similarly to the SFL Life verse from John 15. This VW…

This Week: Reminder
“Where can I run from your love? If I climb to heavens You are there”. “If I fly to the sunrise or sail beyond the sea, Still I find you there”. – You Are Near, page 236, CFC-FFL Sound of Trumpets songbook” #GodIsWithUs #LSS The above thoughts and reflections (also became my Facebook status) and tweetable are only three of the many “REMINDERS” God has bestowed upon me within this week. Made me think that there seemed to be a pattern for the whole 7 days. As I was contemplating on what to pray and be grateful for – for my nearly similar day-to-day housewife life,…

TakeHome-ily: On Readiness and Seeing Him
Today, I went for a Monday mass with my parents and the priest has a very basic yet remarkable homily. He said: “Whenever we attend the mass – every Christian (Catholics most especially) HAVE SEEN THE LORD – we just didn’t recognize IT.“ Have you seen Him? Yes we have. We all have. Others may say we see Him through the cross. It’s correct, but what if there is no cross. How else do we see God during the mass? We see Him, through the host. The host which other people may think – it is just a bread. A bread that others sees it as nothing. But the bread…
