UAE Flag Day | 3 November

    November 3, 2023 /

Like every country, UAE or the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) also honours the their flag through a Flag Day. Flag Day is an occasion where people of the UAE remember the efforts of the founders, Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid, and their brothers who sacrificed for their nation. Renewing the national spirit – this event is to reflect on the achievements of the era of the late President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The UAE flag represents justice, peace, tolerance, power and moderation, that all Emiratis have come to live a decent life and enjoy security and stability – a legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed. FIDES – Faith MFC UAE 42nd Anniversary Celebration Rayan Hotel, Sharjah UAE MFC Dubai was assigned to host this year’s celebration of our community anniversary. This is the second time for us to hold such event. So as early as April/May, Darrelle has started brainstorming of the concept, rationale, flow of the event. This was then scheduled to 2nd July – a week later from the Philippine celebration. So just like all celebrations, there are hurdles and challenges but we praise God because he brought us brethren who happily and readily gave their time, talent & treasure to make this event memorable for all. Hello hello Creatives! ✨ This month, I’m celebrating my 15th Year in the UAE! Imagine that! Never did I thought that I’d last more than a decade and running to the second one in this totally new country. Flash back 2008 – I moved to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates,  check out that story here > FLASHBACK – Living in the World’s Richest City. Fast forward 15 years, I can only think of a very few contents about the UAE’s culture – so  I thought, since tomorrow is a holiday – maybe I can share what the holidays in the UAE & what are its significance. How to Hold Dependent Visa while moving to a new company in Dubai

    August 27, 2023 /

Hey there Creatives! I have been getting these enquiry for a while now. But it took me time to actually create a blog about it because I haven’t experience it until now. Over the past couple of years, I have encountered this scenario: Question: An employee resigned and moves to a new company, s/he has dependents under her/his visa like the wife/husband and children. So what should I do? Answer: The UAE Government has granted a “visa hold” option wherein the sponsor can keep his/her dependent’s visa be on hold – rather than cancelling it and re-apply and go through another lengthy process – not to mention the costs involved.…

    TGIT – 8 Counted Blessings Vol 4

    July 19, 2023 /

TGIT – 8 Counted Blessings Vol 4   It’s been a while since my last TGIT blogpost. The last one was way back 2018. Wow! That was close to 5 years! Don’t get me wrong, of course I’ve had more blessings than the usual things I share online. At times, it is best to keep it to oneself and make it more personal between me and God.   By now, I realized its time to share another set of Counted Blessings. In time when everyone seemed to be uneasy because of the pandemic/post pandemic happenings and all other things happening way back home (in the Philippines), it is still important…
