On Passion: A #TakeHome on Communication & Public Speaking
Communication & Public Speaking. The above photo has a direct link of the slides or presentation I used recently in delivering a talk about one of my passion. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be a teacher. I opt to act as a teacher and gather younger kids in my place to be my students. And yes I enjoyed it. But I have this funny reason why I wanted to be a teacher… back in Elementary school I studied in a public school where in every time there is a periodical test, examiners are given a snacks. Most of the time a sandwich plus a bottle of…

After the Hiatus
After the Hiatus – or before, this is what it was . . . It’s been 40 days (and a day) since I left Facebook for a soul-searching or an offering for the Holy week, I call it a sacrifice. I also gave up soda during those days and this is a public confession. The Cola Challenge I took a few sip in 3 or 4 occasions over the 40 days – I think I did it at least 5 times?!?. The oily/yummy viand signals your mind that it is so good to take even just a sip is indeed a challenge. I struggled and felt guilty – but the good thing…

Faith : Misconceptions of Christianity
I’ve intentionally prepared this blog for Easter Sunday! When everyone else thinks of Easter egg hunts and parties or just simply going to church and complete an obligation, I on the other hand – have been contemplating another “faith-based” post that I haven’t done for a while. A week ago I had a chance to deliver a talk (for the 2nd time with this topic) – CLS Talk #2 – What it means to be a Christian. I want to focus more on the facts of misconceptions for all Christians/Catholics that many of us fall into the trap of understanding barely the actions, without contemplating what it really meant. So,…

So, let’s jump right into it and let me write those things real quick. Family & Loved ones – ones that never fades The smell of rain – I know, but it rarely rains in Abu Dhabi –though rain sometimes makes me melancholic but it brings memories…
