UAE AND ME | UAE @ 49
A quick one… It’s simple way of saying THANK YOU to the country that has helped me and my family through the years. Tomorrow, UAE is commemorating its 49th National Day – and this is my 13th year celebrating it with this beautiful country! I wanted to be a little poetic on this entry * * * Un-ending grateful heart there is Amidst all the things you’ve given me to be at ease Every single year – you’ve been a blessing, #inmyheart I’ve been singing. Armed with innovation – you’ve grown as a great nation! Now at your 49 – you never left us behind.…

Mantle of Protection 26102019
A couple of weeks back, you’d probably notice this FB status… A few extended their concerns asking what happened and if we’re okay. Yes we are. Praise God! I know, either you don’t care or it’s not your concern, but I opt to share this story to my readers and at the same time use this opportunity to release emotional and mental chaos around my head. Right after what happened, I can hear the loud screeching sound of our bus. Right after what happened, I felt an abnormal pain at the back of my head down to my shoulders… I guess these were traumas. 10 Things I love about UAE
Ten (10) Things I love about UAE As a continuation of my 10th year anniversary of being an expat in the UAE for the past decade, I am sharing ten (10) things that I love most in the Emirates. I could give more than 10 but this are the ones that comes first. 1. Accessibility Everything is accessible. I mean transportation is efficient and bus timing are on time. Of course not perfect but surely you can depend on it. Access to schools, hospitals, parks, malls are easy. 2. Baqala This is a mini-store (sari-sari store) version of Abu Dhabi. So far I haven’t seen this in Dubai. But…

Ten (10) Years, 10 Lessons (as an OFW)
Ten (10) Years, 10 Lessons as an OFW Disclaimer: All opinions are personal and I don’t generalize all. It’s what I learned and that I notice them too often that it definitely left a mark into this OFW life. This is my first passport bucketlist ✓: To have my first passport stamped before it expires. lol So, I took my passport in 2005 without any intention of an international travel… only to have one solid ID on my belt whenever a government company would require. But at the back on my mind, I told myself – I want it stamped before it expires. Bucket-list checked! ✓ This is another post…
