What Causes Creativity
I’m a big believer that everyone is creative! “Everyone Can be Creative”…therefore in this blog post I’d like to share what causes creativity. Creativity stems in each one of us, into our very being. God has given us gifts in various forms for us to make the people around us happy, inspired and blossom as well to the kind of person they are destined to become. We give inspiration and we feed our souls (and the others) to do their own too. 1. CONFIDENCE The ability to question without fear, the ability to care for your art and what you bring out of it. 2. OBSERVATION Seeing problems and…

3 Mindsets All Creatives Must Have
You have it. Yes! You have it! You are destined for greatness and you have the gift that only you have. It’s been one of my favorite quote that “Everyone can be Creative”. You just have to unleash it and be willing to explore different creative pursuits. Eventually you’ll know that you have what it takes and you have a gift from above. Not sharing your gift to the world would also mean that you don’t honor God for your talents. So don’t hide it – be you, be creative! A student of life mindset I’m a Lavendaire fan and Marie Forleo follower and both ladies are a big fan…

This Year’s Theme: Keep Creating 2019
2019: New Year’s Battlecry For a while now, I’ve been trying to come up with ideas and concepts for my 2019 theme. ⚡I’ve recently completed Shonda Rhimes’ book – Year of Yes and inspired that I could also have it for 2019, making it as my year of YESes… but a part of me wasn’t that convinced. ⚡Braver2019 also came up as I’m follower of Arriane Serafico of The Purposeful Creative. But the word braver doesn’t really echo in my heart… ⚡Then comes Clarity, Consistency and Authenticity. The triad of values a creative must have! ⚡💫 ✨. Although I want all these 3 words, I am still in search for…

Everyone can be CREATIVE!
On my earlier posts, I have defined what creativity is for me. Yes, it takes courage to proclaim it but again I do believe that everyone can be creative. So, this time, I’d like you to relate more to it. That’s why in this blog post I’m sharing my thoughts on what a creative person is . . . or who are these creatives? You are a creative if you are – – – an artist – of any form a teacher musician (singer, lyricist, guitarist, pianist and all other instruments) poet writer, novelist DIY enthusiast graphic designer actor/actress directors, costumes designers painter dj/vj speaker flower arranger architect /…

My Creative Mantra
I have been following Lavendaire (Aileen Xu) for almost 6 months now and she is definitely inspiring me to be creative (among others). As I continue to follow her – I happen to bumped into her mini-activity of creating a Creative Mantra; an affirmation about who I am as a creative. So here is my declaration! I am creative. I am passionate and worthy to share my talent and skills to the world. I am confident of being God’s creation, therefore I know I am special. I am destined for greatness. #CreativeMantra #TheCreativePassport #DivineSpark #TalentsForHim #DestinedForGreatness Creative Mantra is your personal declaration of who you are as a creative…

Haiku
– Haiku – “Haiku” is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. Haiku poems consist of 3 lines. The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. The lines rarely rhyme. This is another side of me. Way – way back in High school I love writing poems. I guess it comes with the fact that when you’re young, you tend to be “emo” and romantic. Thus topics of poetry on love and relationship comes easy. It has been a decade (or more) that I haven’t written a poem. Not until today! :) It is when I listened to one of my favorite podcast – Happier…
