This Week: Reminder
“Where can I run from your love? If I climb to heavens You are there”. “If I fly to the sunrise or sail beyond the sea, Still I find you there”. – You Are Near, page 236, CFC-FFL Sound of Trumpets songbook” #GodIsWithUs #LSS The above thoughts and reflections (also became my Facebook status) and tweetable are only three of the many “REMINDERS” God has bestowed upon me within this week. Made me think that there seemed to be a pattern for the whole 7 days. As I was contemplating on what to pray and be grateful for – for my nearly similar day-to-day housewife life,…

How to process a Husband/Wife’s Visa in Dubai UAE
How to process a Husband/Wife’s Visa in Dubai UAE (Guide for First Timers) For 9 years, almost 95% of this blog has tagged Abu Dhabi because I’ve been a resident there for that period… But this year a change has come. As I bid goodbye to 2017, I also waved bye bye to Abu Dhabi and moved to Dubai for a new challenge and chapter of our life (collectively together with Kokobear!) Yes, you read it right, starting now you’ll see more Dubai related blog posts and we are starting now! I spent 5 months back home (in the Philippines) and waited for the transition that both Darrelle and I…

My TEACHERS, through these years . . .
They were my mentor, guide and model. As part of the Teaching Room, and because school season has recently kicked-off once again (in the Philippine setting/ summer now in the UAE). Setting aside the hustle and busy days of purchasing school materials and thinking of the current tuition rates… I would like to share the list of names of my teachers. Growing up I am someone who knows exactly what I want to be and so, these people are indeed important as I continue to mold my mind and heart. TEACHER; a superhuman individual producing miracles every single day. /// Funny story though; back in the early grade school years…

Life Lately + See you soon, Dubai!
Life Lately . . . Before the year ends (2017), #TheKokobears (Darrelle and I) hit the road from Abu Dhabi to Dubai. A new life + adventure + service awaits us there. Hitting the road didn’t end there, I also hit the air (haha) by flying back to the Philippines and closed 2017 in Cebu. Allow me to give you an overview of how’s life lately and once again, I’m hitting the road/air back once again – heading to Dubai this time (Well, I guess I might just landed when this post goes public.) December 2017 💫 Went home on the 29th and arrived Cebu at 6 AM on the…

Books I’ve Read (of Pages and Chapters)
Of Pages and Chapters, allow me to share the books I’ve read. I don’t really consider myself a bookworm, I am just one ordinary girl who reads books. I guess in this life time I might have not completed a hundred or two. Trying my best to accomplish that. hehehe At least to give justice to my profession of being an educator… Well I guess, adding all the textbooks, I bet I’ve reach 100! :) Anyway, here’s my humble list of pages and chapters of that world called books! :) Majority of these books I have read a long time ago and can’t recall the exact year… So instead of…

A Labour Day Special – My “WORK-Life” Journey
Happy Labour’s Day!!! Hats off to all the hard-working people in the world! I have been thinking of what to post for this very special day. Then came the idea of sharing my own career journey. It’s easy to just simply enjoy the holiday and greet each other a Happy Labour’s Day… But going deeper to its meaning and actually appreciate every individual who dedicates their 8 AM – 5 PM everyday (others are even up to 12, 15, 20 or 24 hours a day) at work is bigger than the picture that we see with our eyes. What I am trying to say, is that, more than just the…
