Create Confidence – 2025 Theme Recap

    March 23, 2026 /

Reflections on 2025: Creating Confidence It took me a while to publish this post. I guess it just slipped my mind—but nevertheless, here we go. I missed posting my theme for last year, but I’ve been applying it throughout the months. Looking back at how I measured up to my 2025 goals, I’d say I hit about 85% of them. While I didn’t quite achieve the primary goal of this theme, my health in general remained good, and for that, I am grateful. Why this theme? Personally, I wanted to be “Confident” in the way I look. I’ve struggled with being overweight for decades, and the journey to weight loss…

    Top 10 Servant Leader Traits

    March 16, 2026 /

Inspired from the kickoff event od #MFCDubai this 2026, where we delved into Servant Leadership through a Servants Retreat. We booked a villa and for a couple of nights we emersed into the 6- session topics of being a Servanthood and as I reflect, I gathered at least 10 traits a servant leader must have. A good servant leader in the context of Catholic faith demonstrates Christ-like values and embodies principles that inspire and support others, placing God’s will and the dignity of every person at the center of leadership. Here are the top ten characteristics of a Good Servant Leader: Top 10 Servant Leader Traits Humility Catholic servant leaders…

    Photowalk | 27.Feb.2026

    March 9, 2026 /

After finishing my duty and grabbing a late lunch, I opt to set out for a slow walk around the neighborhood, with Viva DG as my final stop for a small grocery run. What started as a simple errand turned into something much more reflective. As I walked through the familiar streets, I found myself noticing the details I often overlook when life feels rushed — the rows of trees swaying gently in the afternoon breeze, the quiet hum of distant traffic, the laughter of children playing in the courtyards. There’s something calming about Discovery Gardens in the late afternoon. It doesn’t try too hard. It just exists — peaceful,…

    Artist’s Statement 2026 | JM Kayne

    March 2, 2026 /

It has always felt natural for me to gravitate toward teaching and learning. Ever since my childhood dream of becoming a teacher came true in college, I’ve continued seeking opportunities that let me share knowledge while also growing from what I learn. As an artist, my curiosity never seems to run out. I’m constantly drawn to new creative mediums that keep me inspired and challenged. Over the past 40 years, I’ve explored many forms of creative expression—drawing, painting, blogging, writing magazine articles, creating artwork, giving presentations, doing voiceovers, hosting events, and producing videos and vlogs. A period of unemployment a few years ago became an unexpected turning point, giving me…
