22 Feb 2019 | Dubai So Far . . .
It’s been a year. Well, technically, 9 months (not counting my 5 months in Cebu)… In this 8 months, our Fridays have always been booked for the community activities and Kokobear’s day off falls on the same day. Thus, it means our time to explore the new city is limited but it hasn’t stop us from enjoying some of its views. We’ve visited a couple of parks, toured the malls: IBN Battuta, Dubai Marina Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall. I’ve toured 3 Day-to-Day shops in Rigga, Burjuman and Union. hehehe – that “kuripot” (stingy) in me still love going to this type of shop. And of course, we’ve…

Patient Brave Courageous
Thursday night was a little emotional night for me. Every thing was doing well, a nice dinner with Kokobear and a few discussions and then something (I can’t totally recall what) led me to be a little off. So I went to bed earlier than the usual. Of course I didn’t sleep right away, still battling that sleepless/insomnia every single night. So I took myself into prayer mode while lying down and suddenly I caught my tears drenching on my face. I wasn’t sad about what happened right before I lie down. I was emotional because somehow for a while I haven’t actually dig deeper into what has been happening…

The story behind The Great Pursuit
Lately I have been into serious difficulties in sleeping on time. To those people who know me well, I have a sleeping alarm at 9:45 PM but for almost a year now this has been a struggle. I often sleep past midnight and for quiet sometime I had moments when I literally sleeps at 10-11 AM in the morning!!! I have to say though that during these mornights (morning+night) or dawn if we use the correct term, I’m in constant battle of thoughts and ideas that sprouts out of no where and the story behind the F4 and victorious activity we had last Friday in CFFL Dubai was a fruit…

This Year’s Theme: Keep Creating 2019
2019: New Year’s Battlecry For a while now, I’ve been trying to come up with ideas and concepts for my 2019 theme. ⚡I’ve recently completed Shonda Rhimes’ book – Year of Yes and inspired that I could also have it for 2019, making it as my year of YESes… but a part of me wasn’t that convinced. ⚡Braver2019 also came up as I’m follower of Arriane Serafico of The Purposeful Creative. But the word braver doesn’t really echo in my heart… ⚡Then comes Clarity, Consistency and Authenticity. The triad of values a creative must have! ⚡💫 ✨. Although I want all these 3 words, I am still in search for…

Amazing Outdoor Activities in Iceland
Iceland – the newest addition to my bucket-list of countries to visit! Whether you choose to visit in the summer, the winter or any other time of year, you’ll find something that will satisfy your thirst for adventure.
