8 Years in Abu Dhabi
This is a quick post on how time passes by. My Facebook newsfeed today, 12th October 2016 showed a 7 year photo of me being home in the Philippines. That was my first “OFW Balik-bayan moment” after a year of being in the world’s richest city! Those years seemed to pass in just a click. A lot have changed, few remained the same and one thing has been constant. Changes – Aspects in life such as physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, psychological and more. Remained – Family (also constant), Friends (true one stays), the same JM or BJ that left Cebu in Sept 2008 etc. Constant –…

Come, Follow Me
And he said to them, “Come, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” – Matthew 4:19 Three weeks ago the above verse is the highlight of one of the daily gospel which happens to be a topic we discussed in our household. Of course I have read it ahead of time since it has become a habit for me to read and post the good news daily on Facebook. Come, household night; we prayed, worship and eventually started sharing. While everyone shared their piece a thought has hit me. “Come Follow Me”. My sharing was about me being asked by God to Follow Him in a…

Underground River – Palawan
Palawan has been a familiar name to me ever since I was in high school. A cousin of mine married someone from the place so they settled in this place known as the cleanest city in the Philippines, Puerto Princesa Palawan. See the #ByaheNgKokobears Palawan Adventure overview here. I have been curious about the world renowned Underground River and just last year (2015) December I had my personal experience of this enchanting place! Let me start by saying at first I thought we were unlucky to be in Palawan during these final days of the year wherein the last sets of typhoons are also scheduled to hit the places…
