    #InMyHeart ♥ New Tagline

    September 24, 2019 /

♥ ♥ ♥ In my heart ♥ has a new tagline… I’ve been trying to figure out something that would inspire people in God’s context. This is something that I’d like to use in my outro for my videos and probably some of the blog posts. YOU are God’s artwork! – every single person is made and created by God, therefore it is only right that (You) Blossom the way you should be! So, there is not much to say here, only the fact that – no matter where and what you are going through right now, stay committed to God. Stay connected, pray and spend time with Him. God’s…

    India’s Onam Festival

    September 14, 2019 /

Hey there Creatives! A new day and a new culture to learn!  This must have been my first inter-culture immersion with the Indian community… but the company’s Onam celebration falls on my comp-off schedule. Although I won’t be there to join the festivities, I’d like to share a little history about this festival. I haven’t attempted to search it on Google, instead I’m sharing it straight from what I’ve heard – a raw storytelling from my co-worker Ria. :) So basically the story comes from this mythical king – King Mahabali who happens to be very popular and thus the people honors him like God. Somehow this situation has reached…

DOs and DON’Ts in Dubai (or in the UAE)

    July 20, 2019 /

DOs and DON’Ts in Dubai (or in the UAE) It’s been a long while since I first landed the UAE and in 2018 we’ve moved to Dubai. I’m sharing a few basic dos and don’ts here in Dubai and for the all other emirates (overall UAE) Dress code Do dress modestly, particularly in conservative areas and public places. Swimwear is acceptable, but make sure you are in the appropriate place such as the beach and the swimming pool. Do cover-up in other public places. Don’t do Cross-dressing, this can lead to jail. Shorts and T-shirts are accepted but if you will visit a mosque or church, please wear a modest…

How to Renew your Passport in Dubai PCG 2019

    July 15, 2019 /

How to Renew your Passport in Dubai PCG (Philippines Consulate General) It’s my first time to renew my passport here in Dubai. Dubai has the consulate, while Abu Dhabi has the embassy since it’s the capital of the UAE. Almost the same process applies. Of course, to start with – the most important step is to book for an appointment. Step 1 – Book for an Appointment. Visit this page for booking your appointment: https://dubaipcg.dfa.gov.ph/services/passports/epassport-appointment-system Make sure that you reserve your slot at least 6-10 months before your passport expires as I have noticed that most of the slots are often fully booked. I did mine in April, which surprised…

    Thoughts on MOTIVATION

    July 4, 2019 /

Dropping a quick blog (list type) of things to do/consider in motivating others or your team. While creating a presentation (for work), I have come up with this basic list of motivation for any team you belong too, especially if you are the team leader.
